Approach to Implementation
The implementation of the CSWB Plan is guided by the Community Safety and Well-being Partnership Council (CSWBPC).
Approach to Implementation
A collective impact approach will be used to bring people together in a structured way towards a common vision and plan of action to address complex social problems. The approach requires five elements:
Common Agenda
The CSWBPC shares a common understanding of the local safety and well-being issues and have adopted a joint approach to addressing these issues through agreed upon actions.
Shared Measurement
The CSWBPC agrees on how to measure and report on progress, with an established list of common indicators to assess progress, measure success, and drive improvement.
Mutually Reinforcing Activities
A diverse set of action groups - across geographic areas and priority areas - are coordinated to collaborate on activities that reinforce and benefit each other.
Continuous Communication
The CSWBPC is engaged in frequent, structured communication to build trust, assure mutual objectives and create common motivation.
Staff Support
Dedicated staff provide support and key functions for the sustained implementation of the Plan.
Key Outcomes
Increased coordination and collaboration between services
Improved access to services
